Thanks to the efficient operation and the dispatch of radio-tracking search teams to Lithuania, only 5 hours after the theft was reported, the property with the rented vehicle was found. All information and coordinates were provided to the owner and the local police. At 5 a.m., the police entered the property and seized VW. The vehicle has already returned to the owner.
On October 14, the Gannet Guard Systems headquarters received a report of suspected misappropriation of a vehicle belonging to one of the Mazovian car rental companies. The owner’s attention was drawn to the information about the vehicle’s location coming from the GPS / GSM module. The thieves decided to liquidate the Volkswagen Transporter in Lithuania and tried to disrupt the operation of the advanced GanTotal system that was installed in the car.
