To locate stolen cars, Gannet Guard Systems employs various methods, including the use of an airplane equipped with radio direction-finding equipment. This approach proved highly effective in the case of a sought-after Audi RS5.
At the end of October, our alarm monitoring center received an alert about interference with the monitoring system installed in an RS5 belonging to one of a car rental companies. After activating the location module from the airplane, we were able to determine the position of the Audi, which was confirmed by the ground team. The police, called to the scene, found the car with its license plates already changed to German ones. We located the vehicle before it was officially entered into the police system.
