On July 13, we received a report from Pomerania about the theft of a BMW 5 series. Thanks to the use of the aircraft with the radio-tracking equipment, the car was located near Wąbrzeźno.
On July 15, in the morning, after the uniforms from the Criminal Department of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Pruszcz Gdański entered the property indicated by us, it turned out that the thieves had been using a GPS / GSM signal jammer since the theft. However, it was ineffective in the case of the GanTrack radio tracking system. Moreover, the vehicle had its engine running, suggesting that the thieves had used the “suitcase” method to steal it and did not want to risk disabling the car, which would immobilize it. After the end of police operations, the car will return to its rightful owner.
By the way, other stolen cars were found at the location of the BMW, including vehicles already dismantled for parts.
