Not all homes had the same Easter preparations. The user of a Mercedes V-class, the Gannet Guard Systems team and police officers from Warsaw and Krzeszowice in Małopolska spent Friday night and Saturday morning differently than planned. The reason was the theft of a car.
Alarms from the GPS module installed in the Mercedes and a rapid data analysis were indications of a possible car theft attempt. We informed both the class V user and the officers from Krzeszowice, where – according to our data – the vehicle was located. The user also reported the incident to the police in Warsaw.
During the night, a property with a garage where the thieves had hidden the Mercedes was located. The owner of the property turned out to be an automotive mechanic. Due to procedural reasons, entry onto private property could only take place after 6:00 AM. At the site, the sought-after class V was found.
