In the process of tracking stolen vehicles secured by our monitoring system, we often come across various kinds of “bonuses.” This was also the case with a Volkswagen Golf, whose interior hid an illegal surprise.
The car was rented from Poland to a French rental company, which then lent it to another. After some time, the location module installed in the Volkswagen stopped transmitting a signal. From our perspective, this could only mean one thing – theft. We located the Golf through the GanTrack radio module, which is a component of the GanTotal monitoring system.
The vehicle was secured by the French police with the assistance of a debt collection company befriended by Gannet Guard Systems. It turned out that the Golf was hiding… drugs. Moreover, on the private property where the car was found, there were other vehicles stolen in Spain and France.
