On August 1, the Gannet Guard Systems alarm center got a theft report of Audi A4 from Ciechocinek. The owner in the morning realized that the car had disappeared from the driveway. The theft probably occurred in the early night hours from July 31 to August 1.
Gannet Guard Systems radio – tracking units using the aircraft determined the position of the stolen vehicle. Ground units arrived at the place and with the use of a radio tracking vehicle they determined – with an accuracy of several centimeters – the location of Audi. All information was forwarded to the police. The car was only a few kilometers from the place of theft.
