The car, as per the agreement, was in the possession of a French rental company, which further leased it out. Tampering with the GPS locator onboard the M1 raised the alertness of the employees at Gannet Guard Systems. Our experience did not deceive us – it turned out that the BMW had been stolen. Thanks to cooperation with one of our regular partners involved in searching for cars abroad, the vehicle was located. This was made possible by the signals from the radio module, which is also part of the GanTotal monitoring system. It turned out that the M1 had been sold with a changed VIN. Nevertheless, the car will return to its rightful owner.
