Late in the evening on March 2, in a BMW M3 belonging to one of car rental companies, a loss of power to the GPS module, which is part of the GanTotal monitoring system, was found. It was a signal of a potential car theft for us.
At the request of the car owner, we woke up the radio module, which is also part of GanTotal. Based on its indications, it was established that M3 was moving north from Białystok towards Lithuania. We informed all Polish border crossings with our eastern neighbor and the Lithuanian Border Guard about it. The next day, after receiving the report by the police, thanks to the work of Gannet Guard Systems teams that had radio – tracking equipment at their disposal, the car was found in a very difficult area near the border with Lithuania, but still on Polish soil.
