Late in the evening on November 23, we received a report of the theft of Toyota Corolla from Warsaw’s Żoliborz. The vehicle was owned by one of the car rental companies.
The last signal of the GPS module, which is part of the GanTotal monitoring system, in which Toyota was equipped with, came from the Wołomin poviat. The immediately taken radio – tracking actions led to the awakening of the radio module, which is the second element of GanTotal. After less than an hour, we found Corolla “safe and sound”, parked on one of the streets in Wołomin. The car already had its license plates changed and the original registration sticker removed from the windshield. The police have seized Toyota. After the investigation formalities are completed, the car will be returned to its rightful owner.
